Pet Events: How Are We Celebrating Halloween This Year?

Spooky costume contests, pumpkin carving, and animal rescue donations are upcoming pet events!
Need some inspiration for the pumpkin carving contests at the upcoming Halloween Parties at all three stores?! Dogs will be celebrating (and winning prizes!) at the Salty’s Pet Supply, Fang & Feather, and Three Paws Pet Supply pet events.Pet parents are invited to join our pumpkin carving pet events that benefit three different local animal rescues. Underdog Railroad Rescue will benefit if you’re a Three Paws customer, Pixie Project is partnering with Salty’s and MCAS Dolly’s Fund will receive donations from Fang & Feather customers. Come by and pick up a pumpkin and then drop it off for the contest. Stop by one or ALL THREE stores and donate this month. Doxies as hot dogs and Rotties as Vampires! Have you started picking out costumes on Etsy or have you been on Pinterest looking for ideas? How to Enter:
- Donate $10 or more (rescues listed below)
- Pick a pumpkin and bring it home for carving
- Bring your pumpkin back the day of the store’s party

Salty’s Costume and Carving Contest
When: Sunday, Oct 29, 12-2 p.m.Spooky activities: Pumpkin Carving Contest, Pet Costume Contest, Bobbing for Hot DogsCostume contest details: We will be having a pet costume contest with prizes in several categories. Photos can be submitted on Instagram and Facebook for consideration if your pet doesn’t want to personally attend the pet event. Get Creative! Prizes will be given out for Best Homemade Costume, Best Owner/Pet Lookalike Costume, and Showstopper Costume that everyone thinks “WOW I wish I had thought of that!!” All internet contestants must have their post online by the day before each party. *Benefits: Pumpkins available starting this Saturday – $10 donations The Pixie Project.
Three Paws Partners with Wildwood Veterinary Clinic for Woof & Treat
When: Thursday, October 26 from 6-8 p.m. Neighborhood Halloween PartySpooky activities: Haunted House and photo booth, local businesses are participating in a doggy trick or treat pet event. Maps are available at Three Paws or the clinic.
