Salty’s Pet Supply and Fang! Pet & Garden Supply Partner with Cascadian Courier Collective
Are you familiar with Portland’s Bicycle Food Delivery Service, Cascadian Courier Collective? They deliver lunch and dinner to their customers and now pet food and products from Salty’s Pet Supply and Fang! Pet & Garden Supply. We asked our customers what service they’d love to see in 2020, and now pet supply home delivery is available for the community. If you need pet food or supplies, you can order online and Cascadian Courier Collective will deliver your order for $5. They’ll do all of the heavy lifting.
Place Orders Online
Orders can be placed online at https://shop.fangpetgardensupply.com and https://shop.saltyspetsupply.com, you can choose pet supply home delivery (instead of store pick up that is used for curbside pickup) when you check out. Customers don’t need to be home so they can run an errand and their delivery will arrive safely at their doorstep.
“We believe every pet should have access to the best and healthiest options available. Don’t drive, can’t find parking, live too far to walk super heavy items home? We’re here to serve all pets and their owners,” adds store manager, Salty’s Pet Supply, Tim Gonzales.
“Being able to offer a home delivery service is something we’ve wanted to offer our customers for years. We know that stopping by the store can be difficult when life gets hectic, and we’re so happy to partner with another local Portland company to make this a reality for the community,” explains owner, Nancy Fedelem.
Five Dollars for Any Delivery
All deliveries are $5 regardless of the weight of the overall package so that you can stock up on bags of dry food before a big weather event.
The best part of this new service is customers can order a single item if they’re in a pinch and work from home. Perhaps their cat needs some enrichment activities while they wrap up a conference call. There is no ‘delivery minimum’ for home delivery!

Is there an online form for home delivery?
Customers can order online (just like store pick up), and they can select “home delivery” at checkout.
Are there any limitations as far as weight goes for delivery?
NO! Cascadian Courier Collective will deliver all orders regardless of weight for $5. What a DEAL!
What are the parameters for delivery?
Please visit https://www.pdxccc.com/deliveryzone.html for the FULL delivery map. Our online store will accept Pet Supply Home Delivery for the following Portland zip codes only:
Salty’s Pet Supply: 97227, 97217, 97212, 97214, 97209, 97204, and parts of 97210 & 97205
Fang! Pet & Garden Supply: 97217 and 97203
Please call the store to set up delivery for addresses within the courier zone with a different zip code.
Is the curbside pickup service at the store still available? How will this program tie into the existing online store?
Just like in the store, customers can take advantage of promotional offers and sales. Our frequent-shopper database is also fully integrated into our online store and automatically updated when they shop online.
Are there any products that are not available for delivery like bags of dry food?
Nope. We have over 1,000 items available online, and every single one of them is deliverable.
Do you charge an additional fee for home deliveries?
$5 for ALL deliveries. From 50lb bags of chicken feed to cases of cans of wet food to single bulk treats only $5.
How fast can deliveries be made? Same day delivery? Within the hour?
Orders placed before 5 p.m. are guaranteed same-day delivery. Customers wanting same-day delivery after the cut-off time can call the store to check if a courier is still available for delivery.
How small can the deliveries be?
We do not have a delivery minimum. Customers can purchase a single freeze-dried duck heart for $0.75 or a Sherpa pet carrier for $109.99. We’re just here to serve all the pets we can find!
Will you deliver RAW food items for pets?
Yes! Any customers that order RAW food and are not at home when the courier arrives must leave a cooler to keep their pet’s food at a safe temperature.
**Note: Customers don’t need to be home. Cascadian Courier Collective will leave items if no one is home. Salty’s Pet Supply and Fang! Pet & Garden Supply will not be responsible for items stolen or damaged after the delivery is made.
